In the supplied hands-on preview, the 11000KV version weighed approximately 3.3–3.35g per motor. The separately tested 8000KV model measured just under 3.8g because it used a larger bell, heavier windings and longer, thicker motor wires.
The 8000KV motor felt exceptionally smooth when rotated by hand, with very little magnetic cogging. A broader bench comparison also placed the BETAFPV 1103 8000KV toward the efficient side of the thrust-versus-efficiency relationship, although it produced less maximum thrust than several more aggressive motors in the test.
These 8000KV results should not be treated as direct performance figures for the 11000KV winding. They do, however, support the design's general position: BETAFPV's 1103 is better suited to pilots who value efficiency and controllable response than buyers chasing the highest possible bench-thrust number.

Real Flight Experience

BETAFPV 1103 vs 1202.5 Motors
An 1103 and a 1202.5 motor have broadly similar stator volume, but stator shape alone does not determine flight performance. Magnet strength, air gap, winding, motor weight, bearings and propeller selection can create a larger difference than the printed motor size.

Choose the BETAFPV motor when you need four lightweight, plug-equipped motors for a compatible 2S platform. Choose the HGLRC SPECTER 1202.5 when your frame requires M2 mounting or you specifically want its N52H magnet and 7075 rotor construction.
