MEPS SZ2306 V2 Motor for 5 Inch Freestyle Drone 1750KV/1950KV/2450KV

Longer Flight Time for More Practice

Built to Survive Freestyle Crashes

Freestyle flying demands durability. SZ2306 V2 combines a reinforced bell structure, TC4 reinforced titanium alloy shaft, and NMB bearings to improve impact resistance, stability, and lifespan, helping pilots fly more and worry less about repairs.

25% Higher Efficiency, Built for Long-Term Freestyle

Easily Unlock Difficult Freestyle Tricks

1950KV maximum power up to 1081.9W, the higher the thrust, the easily to handle difficult freestyle tricks and manuevers.

Pilot-Friendly Performance

The SZ2306 second-generation motor features fewer but thicker arms, improving impact resistance without compromising weight. It provides affordable yet powerful performance. With stable control, longer flight times, and easy handling, the V2 motor offers a forgiving experience for those still mastering the basics of freestyle flying.

Stylish, Striking Appearance

The SZ2306 motor combines high-performance engineering with a visually striking design, making it not only a reliable component but also a stylish addition to any drone. Its bold look reflects the motor’s robust and durable build, enhancing the aesthetic appeal of your drone.

Upgrade Propeller Grip Design

The SZ2306 brushless motor features an improved anti-slip propeller mount, providing a secure hold during intense acceleration and high-impact maneuvers, ensuring props stay locked in place even under extreme flight conditions.

Which Motor Fits You Best?

SZ2306 V2 Compared With the Previous Generation?

The SZ2306 V2 keeps the successful design foundation of the original SZ2306 while introducing several improvements focused on durability and efficiency.

Reinforced Bell Design for Better Durability

One of the most noticeable upgrades is the redesigned motor bell structure.

Compared with the previous generation, the SZ2306 V2 uses fewer but thicker structural supports on the bell. This design improves the strength of the rotating structure while helping optimize heat dissipation during high-load flights.

For freestyle pilots who frequently perform aggressive tricks or experience occasional crashes, a stronger bell design helps improve long-term reliability.

Optimized Internal Design for More Consistent Performance

The SZ2306 V2 also improves the internal winding structure.

By optimizing the wire arrangement and increasing the space utilization inside the motor, the design allows more effective conductor usage within the limited motor size. This helps improve efficiency and maintain strong power output during demanding flights.

These improvements may not be visible from the outside, but they contribute to a more refined flight experience compared with standard motors.

Which KV Version Is Right for You?

Choosing the correct KV depends primarily on your battery voltage and flying style rather than simply selecting the highest number.

- If you're building a 6S freestyle drone, the 1950KV version is the most balanced choice. It delivers strong acceleration while maintaining smooth throttle control and efficient power consumption, making it suitable for everyday freestyle flying.

- For pilots who prioritize longer flight times or cinematic flying, the 1750KV version offers lower RPM and improved efficiency, especially when carrying an action camera.

- The 2450KV version is optimized for 4S builds. Its higher rotational speed provides quicker throttle response and faster acceleration, making it a good option for racing or aggressive freestyle.

Is the SZ2306 Suitable for Your Build?

The SZ2306 was designed around the modern 5-inch FPV platform and works well with most mainstream freestyle configurations.

It pairs naturally with 45A to 60A ESCs, F4 or F7 flight controllers, and common 5-inch tri-blade propellers. Whether you're building a DJI O4 freestyle quad, a Walksnail setup, or an HDZero build, the motor provides stable and predictable power delivery without requiring special tuning.

If your goal is a reliable daily freestyle quad rather than an ultra-light racing drone or a heavy 7-inch long-range platform, the SZ2306 is an excellent fit.

Installation Tips for the Best Performance

To get the best performance from your motor, make sure the mounting screws are the correct length so they do not contact the stator windings. After installation, verify the motor direction in Betaflight before installing the propellers.

Applying a small amount of medium-strength thread locker to the motor screws and prop nuts helps prevent loosening caused by vibration. After several flights, it's also good practice to inspect all mounting hardware to ensure everything remains secure.
