FPV Drone Screws to Assemble the Frame
First up, you need screws to assemble the frame. Take 5-7inch FPV as an example, button head screws in M3 are the most commonly used screws, typically used in conjunction with standoffs. The length of it will be 8mm or 10mm, it depends on each different frame.
Long Screws for ESC and Flight Controllers
What’s more, there are screws in pretty long lengths like 34mm or around; these long screws are used to secure the ESC and flight controller. Small drone, like 3 inch around will use more M2 screws.
FPV Drone Screws are to Mount Motors
The next place to use a lot of screws is to mount the motors. We use socket head screws to mount your motors on the frame arm.
There will be two different lengths of screws, the short one will directly mount on the arm.
The longer one will mount on the arm guard. But don’t worry, the motor manufacturer will offer you the screws, but when you lost some and need replacement, be careful to use the right length one, don’t let the screws touch the motor winding.
Countersunk Screws for the Top Plate
Some frame will use countersunk screws to mount the top plate of the frame, to make it looks flat and better designed.
Camera Mounting Screws
