For the first time in 2 years, I can say: yes, this material works. 💥
Made from Soft PLA by @yxpolyer:
- Slightly harder than TPU 95
- Extremely elastic & tough
- Real rebound effect
- Prints easily on any basic printer (Ender 3, Bambu A1 mini)
💰 1kg costs only 30€, and a mount takes just 35g.
Tested with 75% & 100% infill:
👉 75% got a dent
👉 100% survived 15+ hard crashes like new!
This could be the next breakthrough for FPV crash protection.
