The Flywoo Explorer Molicell P30B battery is designed for pilots who want longer cruising time, stable power delivery and an efficient alternative to a heavy 21700 battery pack. Its high-power 18650 cells make it a strong choice for long-range exploration and smooth cinematic flying.
Buy the 4S1P version for the Flywoo Explorer LR4 or another compatible 4S micro long-range drone. Choose the 6S1P version only when the motors, ESC, electronics and connector are fully compatible with 6S voltage.

In MEPSKING’s specification and application assessment, the main strength of the Flywoo P30B battery is its balance of weight, usable energy and current capability rather than maximum throttle punch.
The 4S version provides approximately 44.4Wh of listed nominal energy while weighing 196.5g. On an efficient four-inch platform, it provides a much larger cruising window than a small 750–900mAh LiHV battery. The trade-off is a heavier takeoff feel, slower braking and reduced agility.
Flywoo rates the pack for up to 35A peak output, while Molicel specifies a 30A continuous discharge rating for the P30B cell. This makes it more capable than many energy-focused 18650 packs, but it remains a Li-Ion cruising battery rather than a high-C racing LiPo.
Real-World Flight Experience

Do not select 6S simply because it has a higher voltage. A 6S battery can damage a 4S-only ESC, motor or power system. It also adds almost 100g compared with the 4S version.

Choose the Flywoo 6S P30B when lower takeoff weight, easier handling and better energy-to-weight performance are the priorities. Choose the iFlight Fullsend when the aircraft can carry an additional 134.3g and maximum cruising endurance is more important.
Frame and Application Compatibility
Choose the 4S1P version: For a Flywoo Explorer LR4, another efficient 4S micro long-range drone or a build that requires the Flywoo XT30UP connector.

Charging and Installation Notes
Use a balance charger that supports the selected cell count and Li-Ion chemistry. The P30B data sheet specifies a maximum charge voltage of 4.20V per cell, which equals 16.8V for 4S and 25.2V for 6S. A conservative routine charging current for this 3000mAh pack is 3A.
The ISDT 608AC balance charger supports both 4S and 6S charging, but the appropriate XT30 or XT60 charging cable may be required.
Secure the battery with a non-slip pad and battery strap, keep the balance lead away from the propellers and check individual cell voltages before every long-range flight. Never charge unattended, and stop using a pack that is damaged, badly unbalanced or unusually hot.
Do not use the cell manufacturer’s laboratory 2.5V cutoff as a normal landing target. Return with adequate battery reserve for headwind, route changes and unexpected current draw.
