T-MOTOR VL6011 KV180 12S VTOL Multirotor UAV Motor
T-Motor VL6011 KV180 12S VTOL Multirotor UAV Motor (Quick-Lock, IPX5, VL Series)
The T-Motor VL6011 KV180 is a VTOL-class brushless motor from the VL Series, built for vertical-takeoff rotary wings on quad-planes and tailsitters. On 12S LiPo it produces up to 10.5 kg max thrust per arm (10.1 kg measured at 44.4 V with P22×6.6 prop), supporting 15–18 kg MTOW quad configurations. The motor integrates with a V60A 14S FOC ESC to enable 360° electronic propeller locking—blades stop at a custom angle in seconds, ESC adapts current to wind torque, reducing drag and saving power in cruise. Construction: Φ67.2×38.4 mm, 300 g with wire, 24N28P, 180 ℃ magnets, 220 ℃ copper wire, 150 ℃ stator varnish, 1000 V coil withstand, imported 696 bearings, ≤10 mg rotor balance, centrifugal cooling, IPX5, −30~55 ℃. Leads: 16AWG silicone 600 mm, shaft 6 mm→4 mm.
Recommended combo: VL6011 KV180 + V60A 14S ESC + P22×6.6 prop; >10,000-flight rated; low thrust-sag under voltage drop for stable VTOL transition and landing.

- Delivers ~10.1 kg/arm at 44.4 V (75% throttle bell temp controlled), tuned for VTOL tailsitter/quad-plane rotors where forward-flight prop stop is required.
- Locks blade at any custom angle in seconds during cruise; ESC auto-adjusts current to external torque, killing rotor drag, cutting power waste, and protecting fixed-wing aerodynamic layout.
