Suggested for a 3850KV 4S build, subject to fit and load checks. Confirm the AIO's 25 × 25mm mounting and motor connectors. The SZ3046 is a higher-load propeller: check current and temperatures before aggressive use. Allow approximately 100g for the battery and verify your complete takeoff weight.

RCINPOWER 1404 Plus vs T-Hobby F1404

In that review, the GTS V3 delivered approximately 3.5–4 minutes of flight, compared with around 4.5 minutes previously achieved with the T-Hobby F1404. The pilot preferred the GTS V3's stronger power feel but questioned the endurance trade-off. These were build-specific observations, not a controlled efficiency benchmark. Consider the GTS V3 when extra punch matters; consider the F1404 when longer sessions are the priority.


Which KV Should You Buy?

3850KV: Our starting recommendation for a balanced 4S 3-inch build; the manufacturer supports 3–4S.

4680KV: Consider it for a more aggressive 4S setup when the propeller load, ESC and battery can support the increased demand. Rated for 3–4S, not 6S.

2850KV: Choose it for a purpose-built 6S micro setup or a suitable lower-RPM 4S combination. Its supported range is 4–6S.


Fit and Installation Checks

Check the 9 × 9mm M2 mounting pattern and 1.5mm propeller shaft. Match the propeller's T-mount fixing holes, and ensure motor screws cannot reach the windings. Start with a low-load propeller and inspect temperatures after short flights. Use a TBS Smoke Stopper for initial electrical checks with propellers removed—not for motor-load testing.
